Ireland is a beautiful, culturally and historically rich country with beautiful scenery, friendly people, great beer and so much to see. The history of Ireland is interesting. Most of it is through to have been covered in ice until around 9,000 years ago. People started to settle there not too long after and ever since then, Ireland was inhabited by small tribes of people who soon began to group together and after a long history of war and struggle (in fact until recently) Ireland finally settled.
To experience the culture of Ireland the best way to get around is in your own rented car or on foot (through the cities, especially). This will get you places buses and trains may not go. Visit the history and art museums in Dublin, and see the ancient historical monuments throughout that city and many others. To get the truest experience of Ireland, one must go to a pub crawl and have a fun night at the many bars including a taste of Ireland’s famous beer, food and friendly people.
